What is Aerial Yoga?
Aerial Yoga is a unique form of fusion yoga that uses fabric hammocks to support the weight of the body. With the body supported, students can experience postures in a new way, including achieving deeper backbends and inversions. Aerial Yoga also helps to decompress the spine , lengthen muscles and increase flexibility throughout the body without the joint pressure that can sometimes be associated with a traditional asana practice.
What is Restorative Aerial Yoga?
Restorative Aerial Yoga is a gentle form of fusion yoga, combining low-hanging fabric hammocks and traditional yoga props to allow for deep relaxation and opening of the mind and body. Powerful visualisations, therapeutic touch and meditative music merge with a slow-flowing practice to relieve joints, deeply stretch muscles, and provide opening for the spine and hips. Restorative Aerial Yoga is accessible to all levels, including those with physical limitations, though it is beneficial for all.
